PHONG NHA JUNGLE TREK & WILDLIFE 1 DAY 1 NIGHT
Located on 20 Quyet Thang street, about 12 km from Phong Nha Tourist Center. Phong Nha Botanical Garden is a primeval forest with an area of 41.82 hectares with a diverse ecosystem, including 500 species of plants.
The garden has attracted a lot of tourists by some wonderful masterpieces of Nature such as the Wind waterfall, breeding area, Vang Anh swimming hole archetypal exhibit, and primeval forest patches. Its rich flora provides an ideal habitat for many rare species of birds and mammals.
Daytime Itinerary
Trekking to the Phong Nha Botanic Garden, you not only can join a guided plant tour along a 3-kilometer path but also enjoy the beauty of some famous attractions here. For example, Gio waterfall, Vang Anh swimming hole with fresh blue water, etc. You will learn and observe many wildlife species in the wild and semi-wild jungle.
Importantly, the Phong Nha Botanical Garden has three routes. Therefore, you can choose the itinerary that you would like to explore as follows:
- Route 1: The Waterfall only (40 minutes).
- Route 2: Lake ( a small swimming hole) and the waterfall (1 hour and 30 minutes).
- Route 3: It is similar to the second route, plus a longer jungle trek (3 hours).
Nighttime Itinerary
At around 5 pm, we will find a fabulous campsite to make our camping tents. After that, we will join the locals who live in the Phong Nha National Park to make a delicious BBQ for dinner. What’s more? You will have a great chance to talk and learn more about the local life and drink some rice wine and local beers with them.
If you are curious about life in the jungle by night, it is a great time to walk around to spot some wild animals in the national park. Then, you will stay in the proper single/double camping tent and enjoy the different impressions of the forest at night. This will be an unforgettable experience for you at the World Cultural Heritage site.
After all, we will have a light breakfast and trek out of the jungle. Then, our Phong Nha private car driver will drive you back to your hotel or homestay in Phong Nha town.
