Phong Nha – Ke Bang is a nation park and world heritage site. The park was created to to protect one of the world’s two largest karts regions with 311 caves and grottoes. It also protects the ecosystem of limestone forest of the Anna mite Range region in North Central Coast of Vietnam. There are still many areas not well explored. Phong Nha held several world cave records, including the longest underground river as well as the largest cave in the world.
Tra Ang Cave locates on the Phong Nha- Ke Bang administrative and services subdivision on the road no.20 Quyet Thang. It was discovered in 2014 by the British Cave Research Association with the length of 1 km and 50 m in width. Tra Ang is a cave with green and cool underground river systems, contains pristine stalactites with various shapes and colors. Currently, Tra Ang is being surveyed to become the popular tourist route.
Paradise Cave is a newly found cave in this area. Prior to the discovery of Son Doong cave, people regard Paradise Cave as the largest and longest cave in Phong Nha – Ke Bang. Some of the most beautiful and spectacular stalactites and stalagmites in the park are found within Paradise Cave.
